Linux Instructions
Requires:
Linux x64 (Ubuntu 20.04+ , Fedora 21+ or RHEL 7+)
1. Download the latest NETCONFc installer for Linux
2. Install NETCONFc for Linux
The NETCONFc Linux installer is a gzipped tar file. To install it, simply run the following command:
$ tar -zxf seguesoft_netconfc_pro_xxxx_xx_xx.tar.gz
$ cd dist
$ ./install.sh
3. Start NETCONFc
$ cd 'your installation directory'
$ ./start_NETCONFc.sh
When you start the application, a dialog will prompt you to provide a valid license file. If you purchased a node-locked license, locate your hostID as shown in the sample screenshot below. To request your official license file, please email support@seguesoft.com with your hostID and the product S/N from your order confirmation email.
4. Request and install your official license file
After receiving your license file (usually named fortlm_license.lic) as an email attachment, save it to your computer, then click the ‘Import’ button to install your license file.
