Buy or Renew Licenses

An active NETCONFc license lets you use the software, upgrade to new releases, and get technical support. NETCONFc license is offered on a pay-as-you-go and prepaid basis. No long-term contract is required. You will receive new license file(s) each time you buy new licenses or renew your existing licenses.

To buy or renew NETCONFc licenses, you can pick either node-locked or floating licenses. Once we receive your order, we will send out an order confirmation email. You then need to send us your hostIDs to request new license files. Order below online, or send us a Purchase Order.

Node-locked Licenses

You can run NETCONFc only on the licensed computer. If you want a node-locked license and portability, you can use a wired or wireless USB network adapter. The license file can be tied to the NIC card, and you can move the USB NIC card around. This USB NIC card doesn’t need to be connected to any network as long as it is plugged into the computer on which you want to run NECONFc. Send us the MAC address of your USB NIC card when you request your official license file. 

Floating Licenses

The floating license is best suited for a team with multiple engineers. Floating licenses enable license sharing and can potentially reduce the cost. For example, even if you have 5 floating licenses, 10 engineers can share these 5 licenses, as long as there are at most 5 computers running the software at the same time.

A license server application needs to be set up so that your team members can check out licenses from it. For details, see How Floating Licenses Work.

Support and Software Update Policy

All purchases come with email technical support and access to any software updates as long as you have an active, valid license.

All products are shipped electronically. No refund will be issued after an official license file has been issued to the end user. Please use our trial version before making purchases.
