2.4 Importing Your Floating License File into NETCONFc
When you start the NETCONFc application, a dialog will appear, prompting you to provide a valid license file. Please disregard the HostID reported on the message dialog.
Simply grab a copy of the fortlm_license.lic file that your license server is using and save it on your computer.
Next, click the “Browse and Import“ button to install the license file into your NETCONFc application.
You should now be able to run the application. If you encounter the error ‘Unable to connect to the license server,’ please ensure that the license server computer and the port being used are reachable. Note: You must ensure that the chosen port is not blocked by your firewall. On Linux, you can add the chosen port as an exception to the firewall rules. On Windows, you MUST configure the firewall to allow “flmserver” as an exception (“flmserver” is the actual program that starts the license server).
